Beginnings
Mike Adams has joined our team as Vice President of Sales and Development. Mike, who spent 26 years at Lockheed Martin, will focus on enhancing Kinsley’s market share in the Southeastern, United States, while leading our new division of Strategic Meeting Management services. Mike brings an innovative management style that drives collaboration and adoption of corporate meeting management programs. He is a champion of the Strategic Meeting Management processes that enable companies to leverage their global meetings investment for the highest ROIC.
Danielle Bell has also joined our team as an intern. She is presently a student at Metropolitan State College majoring in Hospitality, Tourism and Events with an expected graduation of December 2012.
Involvement
Allison Kinsley, CMM, CMP, was appointed to a three-year term on the International Board of Directors for Meeting Professionals International, beginning July 1, 2012.
Dani Rickert was a member of the organizing committee for MPI’s “Backpacks to Briefcases”, held in Denver on April 20th. The one-day program, targeting college students, provided meetings industry education and jump-started networking with meeting professionals. Dani coordinated speakers for the event, which drew 60 student participants.
Steve Kinsley attended the Experient “Envision” Meeting in Reno, NV. Kinsley Meetings is a strategic partner of Experient.
Allison was invited to and attended the Associated Luxury Hotels International’s Woman in Leadership conference in Pasadena, CA.
The Kinsley staff participated in the Junior Achievement Bowl-a-Thon last month. All monies raised go to fund local Junior Achievement programs. To join our team next year, contact steve@kinsleymeetings.com.
